Who we are
nucleareurope is the Brussels-based trade association for the nuclear energy industry in Europe. nucleareurope acts as the voice of the European nuclear industry in energy policy discussions with EU Institutions and other key stakeholders. The membership of nucleareurope is made up of 15 national nuclear associations representing nearly 3,000 firms.
What we do
Provide information and expertise on the role of nuclear energy; produce position papers, newsfeeds, responses to public consultations, analyses of public opinion; organise regular networking events like dinner debates, workshops, one-on-one meetings, press briefings and visits to nuclear facilities.

Security of energy supply, competitiveness, economics of nuclear, nuclear safety, nuclear liability, radioactive waste, decommissioning, nuclear transport, environment, new projects, R&D, energy mix, non-proliferation, public opinion, EURATOM treaty, emergency preparedness.
Nuclear forums at EU and international level
nucleareurope is represented at a number of key nuclear-related forums including the European Nuclear Energy Forum (ENEF), European Nuclear Safety Regulators’ Group (ENSREG), Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform (SNETP), European Nuclear Society (ENS), European Human Resources Observatory for Nuclear (EHRON), Implementing Geological Disposal of Radioactive Waste Technology Platform (IGDTP), MEP Forum for the Future of Nuclear Energy, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), OECD/Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA).
Membership
The membership of nucleareurope is made up of 15 national nuclear associations – active across Europe – and the companies that they represent, and 7 Corporate Members. Nearly 3,000 firms are represented, from Europe’s (and the world’s) largest nuclear utilities and nuclear fuel cycle companies, to other undertakings engaged in the transport of nuclear materials and the management of radioactive waste:

We are actively involved in this initiative
Nuclear for Climate is a grassroots initiative, which brings together 155 associations from 36 countries. It represents scientists, engineers and professionals from the global nuclear sector, who call for the development of all the low carbon technologies available NOW and believe that nuclear energy is part of the solution in the fight against climate change.
