7 Heads of State call on Commission to support low-carbon nuclear
7 EU Member States have written to the European Commission calling on for nuclear to be treated fairly in ongoing climate neutrality policy discussion. Signed by the Heads of State of the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia, the letter insists on the need to support all currently available zero and low-emission technologies that contribute to climate mitigation. In addition, they highlight the fact that, regardless of the opinion of other EU countries, Member States remain free to choose their own decarbonised energy mix.
